April will be the beginning of a celebration commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War which spanned from 1861 to 1865. While hundreds of events are in the works for Fairfield and surrounding areas, here at the Inn we are putting finishing touches on some fantastic kick off events you won't want miss! Beginning Friday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m. and continuing through Saturday, April 23, and culminating with our ever popular Crack the Egg feast on Easter Sunday, you definitely want to make plans to attend. Some of the exciting scheduled highlights include: A noted dignitary addressing attendees Friday evening prior to a Good Friday Civil War Era Church Service; then on Saturday, events will include a Living History Medical, Signal and Artillery Encampment, a Cavalry Battle titled Protecting the Fairfield Gap;House Tours; a Civil War Era High Tea, and a Civil War Markers Dedication and Ransoming of the Towns.Call today for details and be a part of the history!
